Turnkey Services and State-of-the-Art Facilities for Satellite Assembly, Integration, and Testing
The Advanced Satellite Integration Facility (ASIF) is turning Magellan’s investment in knowledge and technology into a global advantage for the development of Canada’s space industry. A unique hub for innovation, it’s shared and jointly operated with the University of Manitoba, connecting industry with academia in the research, development, construction and testing of satellite buses and subsystems.
The 5,900 sq ft Class 100,000 clean room is equipped and configured with 3-axis cranes, environmental control equipment, fume hoods and other specialized equipment. It was designed with low and high bay integration areas large enough to accommodate the simultaneous assembly, integration and testing (AIT) of three satellite buses.
